Philippe G. von Stauffenberg (Chairman)

Philippe G. von Stauffenberg (born 1964) is the Managing Partner of Solidus Partners which he founded in 2004. He has 18 years of experience as an investor and operational manager in European companies working with both private investors as well Private Equity groups. Mr von Stauffenberg has invested in various companies which he has run as Executive Chairman or CEO. Examples include Heitmann Documentations Services, EurotaxGlass, Klassik Radio, and most recently the buy-and-build of Mood Media.  Mr. von Stauffenberg holds a BA and Ma in history, as well as a MBA from Harvard University.

Dr. Matthias Allgaier

Dr. Matthias Allgaier is Managing Director of H.I.G. Capital, Diplom-Kaufmann, Mannheim University and Doctor, Karl Franzens University. Matthias, a German national, has been working in the Private Equity Industry since 1994.  Throughout his career, Dr. Allgaier focused on buyouts and growth equity investments in the U.K. and Continental Europe.  Prior to joining H.I.G. Capital, Dr. Allgaier held senior positions with Internet Capital Group and Apax Partners in London.  Prior to that, he worked at General Atlantic Partners in the US where he focused on European growth capital investments. Dr. Allgaier currently represents H.I.G. Capital on the board of FNZ Group, VNU Media, The Engine Group and Fibercore.

Thomas Scriven

Thomas Scriven is a Director with H.I.G. in London, covering growth equity, leveraged buy-out and distressed investments in Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Previously, Thomas spent several years with Goldman Sachs Capital Partners ("GSCP") in London, pursuing private equity opportunities in Europe and India. Prior to GSCP, he worked at Parthenon Capital, an operationally focused mid-market private equity firm in the U.S., and as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York. Thomas received a B.A. in Politics from Princeton University and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a Swiss and British national.

Lorne Abony

Lorne Abony (born 1969) is a Canadian businessman. He is Chairman and CEO of Mood Media Corporation, a public company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Abony has been instrumental in the founding of a number of media ventures. He Co-founded FUN Technologies in 2001 and in 2004 as CEO of FUN became the youngest CEO of a listed company on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). Abony was born and raised in Toronto. After graduating from the University of Windsor law school in 1994, Abony practiced corporate and securities law at the Toronto firm Aird & Berlis. Abony left the law profession in 1996 to embark on an entrepreneurial career.

Hyman K Bielsky

Hyman K Bielsky earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of North Carolina (1976) and a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of North Carolina (1980). His active career started in Chicago, Illinois as Associate Lawyer at Seyfarth, Shaw (1980 to 1983) and at Matkov, Griffin, (1983 to 1987). In 1987, he joined Safety-Kleen Corp in Elgin, Illinois, first as a Lawyer, then as Senior Vice President and General Counsel from 1987 to 1996. He stayed with Safety-Kleen, as Managing Director, CEO and ultimately Chairman of Safety-Kleen Europe from 1996 to 2008. During his tenure, earnings grew from 5m(gbp) to 54m(gbp), and the company was sold three times, in 1998 for 105m(gbp), in 2004 for 280m(gbp) and in 2008 for 580m(gbp). From 2008 to 2010,  Mr Bielsky was Executive Advisor at CCMP Capital.

Andrew Rivkin

Andrew Rivkin (born 1969) is the Founder and a Principal of Rivkin Asset Management "RAM". RAM advises Mood Media in regards to strategy, mergers & acquisitions and finance. Prior to founding RAM, Andrew Rivkin was a Principal and the President of Fluid Music (Mood Media's predecessor until 2010). Since joining Fluid as Principal in March of 2007, Rivkin has helped build over $420 million dollars of shareholder value for Fluid Music and subsequently Mood Media shareholders. Prior to Fluid Music, Rivkin co-founded FUN Technologies "FUN" in 2002 and served as its Executive Chairman from 2002 to 2006, leading the company to complete 8 acquisitions and raise over $190 million. Prior to co-founding FUN, Andrew Rivkin was Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Cryptologic Inc. from January 1995 to June 2001. Under Mr. Rivkin's leadership, Cryptologic became one of the largest and most successful developers of eGaming software. Rivkin was born and raised in Toronto. He graduated from University College, University of Toronto in 1992 with a bachelor of commerce degree in finance and economics.
