German Sustainability Award – Honoring Sustainable Contributions

The German Sustainability Award is an initiative launched by the German Sustainability Award Foundation in cooperation with the German federal government, the German Council for Sustainable Development, municipal umbrella associations, business alliances, civil society organizations and research institutions. Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland GmbH has supported the German Sustainability Award since 2008.

2012 will see the fifth installment of Germany's top prize for sustainable contributions. The competition is open to any company that provides products or services in Germany. Applications can be submitted for entire companies, or for individual products, services and initiatives. For the first time ever, all German cities and municipalities will also be invited to submit their own sustainability projects and strategies. Applications will be accepted until May 31, 2012.
