Transparency and fairness in calculating prices
The fee for participation in Duales System Deutschland is based on the user-pays principle, and factors in the different collection, sorting and recovery costs for the various packaging materials involved.
Note that you only have to register the packaging with DSD GmbH that is sold in Germany, with the fee being governed by the material that is used.
