Mixed plastics obtained from sorting lightweight packages are nowadays recovered by fit-for-purpose state-of-the-art technology in cost-efficient eco-compatible processes, enabling them to be used for manufacturing new plastic products.

The homogeneity and reproducibility of their properties and high calorific values for large available tonnages, however, also render them ideally suited for producing industrial fuels to be utilized in the cement and lime industries, for steel production and for use in power plants.
