Residual waste can be subdivided into compostable organic waste and non-compostable waste.
You should place compostable waste on your compost heap or in the organic waste bin. Your local waste calendar shows where you can order an organic waste bin. If you want to dispose of articles that are made of recyclable materials but do not belong in the yellow bin, you can take them to your local recycling station. Clothing is not waste. If you want to clear out your wardrobe, somebody else may be glad of your old clothes. It's a good idea to bag them for house-to-house or container collections.
