At our production sites in Hörstel and Eisfeld, we record water consumption in detail, broken down into total water, production water and well water. Wastewater discharge and production water disposal are also documented. These figures form the basis for transparent and responsible resource management.

We are currently in the process of setting up a comprehensive water management system. Specific targets have not yet been defined in this area, as we first want to create a reliable database. Our focus is therefore currently on analysing existing processes and developing a comprehensive understanding of the water cycles at our sites.
The data collected so far provides a valuable basis for deriving targeted measures to increase efficiency, reduce water consumption and improve wastewater treatment in the future. Our medium-term goal is to establish sustainable water management that combines ecological responsibility with operational requirements.
We are convinced that transparency is the key to responsible action. That is why we attach great importance to reporting openly on the status quo even at this early stage and look forward to developing this area further.
