DigiDot, the “Digital Sorting Guide”, has been nominated for the German Sustainability Award Products 2027 in the transformation field of “Resources”. The competition’s assessment partners are convinced that this digital solution is helping both businesses and consumers to make more sustainable choices while driving the transition towards a circular economy.

As an international packaging sorting and disposal guide, DigiDot helps end-consumers across Europe to correctly separate and dispose their packaging. By scanning the DigiDot QR code, users receive product-specific and location-based disposal instructions in their local language. This helps keeping valuable resources in circulation and sustainably improve recycling rates.

We are delighted about this nomination. The award ceremony will take place on 3 December 2026 as part of the 19th German Sustainability Day (#DNP2026) in Düsseldorf, where Der Grüne Punkt will also be present with its own exhibition stand.
