Shortly after integrating the French RG Group, GreenDot is taking another strategically important step in building a robust, pan‑European recycling platform with the addition of Anviplas Spain, a long‑established LDPE recycling specialist located in Navarcles, Catalonia. With an annual capacity of 30,000 tonnes, the site significantly expands GreenDot’s ability to secure and scale high‑quality natural and translucent LDPE recyclates for European converters and brand owners.
GreenDot now operates a total of six state-of-the-art mechanical plastics recycling facilities, including existing plants in Hörstel and Eisfeld (Germany), Piacenza (Italy), and Tence and Saint-Pal-de-Mons (France). Together, these sites provide converters and brands with a reliable supply of high-quality recycled materials, offering a combined recycling capacity of 175,000 tonnes per year across all material streams. GreenDot’s portfolio covers the full range of LDPE, HDPE, and PP recycling.
For GreenDot, the integration of Anviplas Spain is more than an operational expansion, it is a deliberate move to reinforce Europe’s recycling infrastructure at a time when demand for premium recyclates is accelerating and regulatory requirements are tightening. The Navarcles facility processes post‑commercial and post‑industrial films using modern installations designed to deliver consistent, high‑performance materials. With over 35 years of experience since its founding in 1988, the company brings deep technical expertise and a strong industrial heritage to the GreenDot network. The site employs around 70 people, who will now contribute to GreenDot’s growing European operations.
By combining Anviplas Spain’s long‑standing know‑how with GreenDot’s international commercial and operational network, the company strengthens its ability to secure feedstock, optimize cross‑border logistics, and provide reliable, European‑made recyclates at scale. This strategic step enhances supply chain resilience at a moment when Europe is seeking greater independence in critical materials and a faster transition toward circular plastics systems.
