To mark World Recycling Day 2025, around twenty colleagues from Der Grüne Punkt and GreenDot Group once again played an active role this year in ridding the area around the office building in Cologne Airport Business Park of carelessly discarded waste. 

As part of the city's ‘Kölle putzmunter’ campaign, numerous items of waste were collected - from plastic packaging and glass bottles to items of clothing. Once again, the amount of used glass that was found was particularly striking. Glass is a valuable raw material that belongs in the appropriate containers to be recycled and reused. 

Der Grüne Punkt has been involved in the ‘Kölle putzmunter’ initiative for many years. With the regular cleanups, employees put the company motto ‘Love the Loop and Live the Loop’ into practice. The high level of participation once again shows that the circular economy is more than just a motto.
