In pouring rain, numerous colleagues set out, including almost the entire management including representatives of the internationally active GreenDotGroup, supported by Waste Free Oceans, to clean up the surroundings of the headquarters in the Cologne Airport Business Park as part of a "Kölle-putzmunter" campaign. About 40 bags were filled with waste, including a mattress with blanket and pillow, a bicycle saddle, a soccer, a shopping cart and a very romantic mossy pair of shoes. Harzadous waste, including five canisters of engine oil, were reported to the responsible office, but were not taken away for safety reasons.

 
And: Many glass bottles with and without deposit were found, carelessly "disposed" into nature. Used glass is an extremely valuable raw material and should definitely be disposed of in the glass containers that can be found on almost every street corner.

 
With the Cleanup, the colleagues put the company's guiding principle "Love the Loop and Live the Loop" into practice. Der Grüne Punkt has been involved in "Kölle putzmunter" for many years and the willingness to participate, even in this weather, was again very high. In the end, even the sun showed itself again and conjured up a rainbow in the sky.
